Foundation Profile
The Sime Mlapisane Foundation was established for the main purpose of giving vulnerable children a helping hand to access opportunities that will advance their prospects of succeeding in life.
Project Overview
The main recipients of the assistance are children in need and consist of:
• academic support;
• sponsoring schools with academic trophies, tents, books, libraries with books;
• payment of school fees;
• purchase of uniforms, clothing; and
• food parcels distribution
The Sime Mlapisane Foundation is built on the bedrock of ‘paying it forward’. The founder, Sime Mlapisane, feels that her achievements in life were made possible by the generosity of people that believed in her, motivated her and paid her tuition. All that they requested from her was to pay it forward.
